Last week, in honor of National Menstrual Hygiene Day, we donated 100,000 period products to the city of Providence to support their feminine care program they recently rolled out to their middle and high schools.
1 in 5 girls in the US will miss school because they don't have access to safe period products. There should not be a barrier for any student to learn and reach their highest potential. This program that Providence implemented for their students will be what all school districts should and will be emulating for their communities.
At TOP, we feel just as passionate about giving access to safe period products to all girls and women. We are all helping to transform the lives of girls who will be our future leaders. We are excited to see the impact of this program on the students of Providence and look forward to seeing more and more cities follow their example.
This was a special day for TOP and even more memorable because our daughters stood by our sides. We can all be part of this change and we are thankful of our TOP family for making this possible!
