In honor of International Women’s Day, TOP has partnered with Project Stree, a nonprofit organization working to empower Indian womxn by increasing awareness, providing access to menstrual education and hygiene products to girls and women in rural India. Their mission aligns so well with TOP's purpose to educate, empower and work towards removing the stigma around periods. TOP will be making a donation of period pads to Project Stree to support their incredible work.
Project Stree envisions a future where every Indian womxn fully accepts that her own body and its processes are not something to be ashamed of. Instead, they hope to instill the belief that her body is sacred and closely linked with nature. They advocate for a future in which each womxn feels empowered to take her life and health into her own hands. They work with grassroots organizations and local schools in India to implement workshops in schools and organize product distribution at the community level. To date, the team has donated nearly 6,000 pads to over 1,000 women across 14 villages in Gujarat, India.
We are proud to partner with them in a collective effort to bring healthy, organic, and eco-loving period products to people who need them most.
